Welcoming Our Holy Father with Joy and Hope

Catholic Relief Services warmly welcomes our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, with grateful and joyful hearts. We pray that his leadership will continue to inspire faith, unity and compassion among all people and in the global Church as he steps into this sacred role.
CRS looks forward to walking alongside Pope Leo XIV in carrying out the Church’s mission to care for our most vulnerable sisters and brothers around the world. We have faith that his voice and guidance will empower our efforts to answer our Gospel call to serve those most in need. Under his pastoral care, we seek to build a world rooted in justice, charity and the dignity of all human life.
Let us pray for Pope Leo XIV,
O God, who in your providential design
willed that your Church be built upon blessed Peter,
whom you set over the other Apostles,
look with favor, we pray, on Leo XIV, our Pope
and grant that he, whom you have made Peter’s successor,
may be for your people a visible source and foundation of unity in faith and of communion.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
