CRS Rice Bowl is a Catholic Relief Services Lenten tradition that can enrich your spiritual journey and put you in touch with a wider community of believers.

It is also a way to support our poorest brothers and sisters locally and overseas. With prayer, reflection, simple meals, giving and fasting, we show unity in the Church, and solidarity with those who suffer poverty and persecution.

CRS Rice Bowl is also about family. The prayers, readings and reflections are often shared around the dinner table, where a place is set in your hearts for others around the world. And each year we are amazed by your commitment and care for the poor.

We respond by sharing stories of lives lifted by your generosity and faithfulness. Our daily reflections are there for you every day of Lent. And our simple meal recipes offer a taste of different cultures and diets.

CRS Rice Bowl is one way we hope to give back to our supporters who persevere in strengthening our work overseas. We thank God that working among the poor is a priority for the Catholic community in the United States.

We hope you join us again this season by donating to CRS Rice Bowl. We offer it to you for Lent, for life, and for all the lives you serve.
