Standard Seed in Kenya

In response to concern regarding low volumes of non-maize crops, key regulatory, institutional, and private industry stakeholders recommended a new certified seed class, with the objectives of increasing certified seed volumes of focus crops and foster farmers’ purchasing of certified seed.
