2016 Integrated Nutrition Conference (INC)

Responding with the Private Sector for Greater Nutrition Impact, Summary Report

The second Integrated Nutrition Conference (INC), held in Nairobi in 2016, focused on engaging the private sector to improve nutritional outcomes, an issue that arose during the first conference in 2015. The conference was organized around two main objectives:

  1. identify strategies for civil society, government, and academia for partnering with the private sector in addressing the nutritional needs of vulnerable populations
  2. leverage products, services, technologies, and practices that support the nutritional needs of vulnerable populations

In this video, conference participants explain how partnerships between CRS, government and private sector actors are improving health and nutrition in Africa.
