Liberia is a country recovering from two brutal civil wars, one which spanned just over a decade ending in 2003 and an Ebola outbreak that killed 4,800 people between 2014 and 2016. Catholic Relief Services released a survey on the three main factors that could incite violence. Reuters interviewed regional director for CRS in West Africa, Jennifer Overton about the survey and current situation in Liberia.

"Liberians are telling the world that the causes of the long civil wars are still there and they have genuine fears of their country returning to violence."
