The conference on Impact Investing, called Making the Year of Mercy a Year of Impact for the Poor, is fully underway at the Vatican this week as it brings together the Catholic Church and other faith-based institutions to explore how they can harness the power of impact capital to attain and sustain their social mission. Because the conference is hosted by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, Our Sunday Visitor spoke with CRS president Dr. Carolyn Y. Woo about what could come out of the conference.
