CRS Resource Center
ministry tools for prayer, formation and action with a global perspective
College students are some of today’s most socially-minded, compassionate, eager and effective change agents. Catholic campuses and Catholic centers at non-Catholic institutions across the country play a critical role in informing and steering the national dialogue on today’s most pressing social justice issues.
Featured resources for universities include:
CRS University: CRS University engages students, faculty, and staff in tangible acts of solidarity to build a more just and peaceful world.
Student Ambassadors: We encourage colleges and universities to form on-campus chapters of student leaders who are trained by CRS to mobilize their peers and bring to life the mission of global solidarity on campus. This initiative is a great way to invite students to connect their Catholic faith to what’s happening around the world and to encourage them to think about how they will continue to put their faith in action after they graduate.
I am the Cause. I am the Solution Campaign: Climate Change. Human Trafficking. Migration. The world is facing some of its most serious challenges ever. Just as humanity has contributed to these problems, we have a shared responsibility and opportunity to help solve them. This campaign equips students to create lasting change around these issues.
Faculty Learning Commons: Our free online learning community and curricular resource highlights the latest strategies for global relief and development. Each semester, the FLC provides academic resources and a live webinar about a particular global issue
Guide for Leaders of Service Immersion and Mission Trips: We have developed resources for short-term, international immersion and mission trips. Rooted in Catholic teaching and based on our extensive experience working with partners overseas, these resources are designed to be used by a facilitator with groups as they prepare for, take and return from trips.
