CRS Resource Center
ministry tools for prayer, formation and action with a global perspective
In the national plan for Catholic evangelization in the United States, Go and Make Disciples, the US bishops write:
"The fruits of evangelization are changed lives and a changed world— holiness and justice, spirituality and peace. The validity of our having accepted the Gospel does not only come from what we feel or what we know; it comes also from the way we serve others, especially the poorest, the most marginal, the most hurting, the most defenseless and the least loved.” (Go and Make Disciples, no. 18)
CRS offers resources that can help parishes bear the fruit of the new evangelization— changed lives and a changed world:
Parish Resource Overview: Our programs and resources help parishes bear the fruit of the new evangelization by integrating a commitment to “the poorest, the most marginal, the most hurting, the most defenseless and the least loved” around the world into their liturgies, educational programs, and social ministries.
Pastoral Year Calendar: We have highlighted specific resources for global solidarity that connect to liturgical seasons, feast days and other noteworthy days or events throughout the pastoral year.
Bulletin Content: Download inserts for parish bulletins which include global reflections, prayers and stories.
Parish Ambassador Corps: CRS Parish Ambassadors are active parishioners with a passion for global solidarity who, with the blessing of their pastor, help strengthen the parish’s outreach ministry by organizing global discipleship activities. They coordinate 3 global solidarity initiatives a year in their parishes.
