CRS Clergy Outreach
About CRS Clergy Outreach
Outreach to clergy has been a growing focal point in Catholic Relief Services’ efforts to engage Catholics in the United States in our shared global mission. CRS views our outreach as a continuum—beginning with seminarians and ending with retired clergy. Our goal is to be a resource for clergy as they help their people deepen their faith and animate it in their lives.
-
Clergy Resources
CRS offers clergy ongoing formation in Catholic social teaching and global solidarity to deepen vocational understanding of justice and service to the poor.
-
Seminary Resources
Seminaries in the United States are a critical part of CRS’ clergy outreach continuum. Sharing in the task of forming future pastoral leaders for the universal Church, CRS has continued to engage seminaries, striving to more effectively integrate Catholic social teaching within the four pillars of the Program of Priestly Formation.
-
Global Fellows
One component of CRS’ clergy continuum involves engaging clergy through the Global Fellows program. Through the program, clergy become engaged in our Gospel call to help our brothers and sisters overseas—and engage parishioners around the world.
