Biography
As Catholic Relief Services (CRS)' Country Representative for three countries in western Africa; Senegal, The Gambia, and Guinea-Bissau, N. Anta Gueye-James is responsible for CRS programming that reaches nearly 20 million people. This includes programming to help farmers, pregnant women, children, and other at-risk groups learn how to protect their crops from climate change and protect themselves from infectious diseases like Ebola and COVID-19.
Before joining CRS, Anta worked as a senior manager for Kaiser Permanente and as a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) project manager in Senegal.
