Biography

As Chief of Party for CRS Guatemala, Lheslye is responsible for managing a team of CRS staff focused on increasing community development in the country. Lheslye often works with external audiences, including donors and members of the local media, to spotlight the work of CRS’ Guatemalan partners.

Prior to her promotion to Chief of Party, Lheslye was a Youth Livelihoods manager for CRS Guatemala. In that role, she helped businesses – both public and private – across the country develop plans to hire more young Guatemalans and increase youth employment numbers. She also worked with medium-sized businesses to identify what they needed most in their workers, and developed training for young people to fill those needs.

Before joining CRS, Lheslye worked as a program manager for SHARE de Guatemala, where she worked with more than 18,000 small and medium businesses to help grow their credit, coordinated with international organizations such as USAID, and helped implement the SHARE program into Guatemalan national banks.
