Our Pledge to Donors
Our Pledge to Donors
Without the compassion and generosity of so many, we could not do our work for the most vulnerable people around the world. Catholic Relief Services is committed to adhering to the intent of each donor's gift.
We recognize that our donors are partners in our mission, which is rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ to cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life. To honor that partnership, we affirm that all donors have the following rights.
CRS pledges to:
-
Assure that gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given, with integrity, accountability and in service to people in greatest need.
-
Provide timely and meaningful acknowledgments.
-
Offer access to our most recent financial statements on our website, reflecting a commitment to good stewardship and responsible management.
-
Ensure that all interactions with representatives of our organization—staff, volunteers or partners—will reflect the Gospel values of compassion, humility and respect.
-
Provide the option to remove your name from mailing or contact lists that may be shared in accordance with our ethical standards and privacy policy.
-
Address questions and concerns in a timely manner.
Additional Commitments
CRS commits annually to these organizations to meet their standards that address stewardship, ethics and organizational effectiveness.
