What We're Praying for This Week
As Catholics, we recognize that prayer is of the utmost importance, an invaluable contribution to helping the poor overseas. We invite you to join us in bringing to Our Lord the following intentions and thanks.

Let us pray for the Church, that we may live like Jesus and spend our lives in loving service, by carrying burdens, and comforting the brokenness of one another.
Let us pray for all the faithful and for our brothers and sisters who serve the Church as humble servants, especially those in service to the poor and powerless.
Let us pray for the gift of peace, and that God's blessings will help all people recognize the beauty and dignity of each person.
Let us pray for all those who lack the necessities of life, for the homeless, the orphans, the refugees, and those who need food and housing—that God will stir our hearts to work for peace and justice and alleviate the sufferings of others.
Let us pray for all those who exercise authority, that they may learn from Christ to serve the needs of others unselfishly, and guide others to recognize and care for those in need.
Thanks to Deacon Jim Westwater of St. Isaac Jogues Parish, Archdiocese of Baltimore, for contributing these prayer intentions.
