What We're Praying for This Week

As Catholics, we recognize that prayer is of the utmost importance, an invaluable contribution to helping the poor overseas. We invite you to join us in bringing to Our Lord the following intentions and thanks.
Creation: Let us pray—as brothers and sisters—that all the gifts of creation may awaken in us a deeper sense of care and responsibility.
Blessings: Let us thank God that He gives great returns on small investments and invests in us so that we may help others share in His abundance.
Human Rights: Let us pray for all those who suffer the effects of war, violence, hatred or natural disasters, and for those who are unjustly deprived of freedom or the basic necessities of a dignified human life.
Perseverance: Let us pray—as brothers and sisters—and, let us kneel and ask God to help us follow Christ our King through ignominy to glory, through suffering and death—to the fullness of new life in resurrection.
Thanks to Deacon Jim Westwater of St. Isaac Jogues Parish, Archdiocese of Baltimore for contributing to this week's prayer intentions.
