Thanksgiving is, ultimately, about turning to God in gratitude for his abundant blessings.
We can focus on the feast. But the Church reminds us that Jesus said, "My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to finish his work."
Jesus goes on to alert his disciples to an approaching feast of souls. "I tell you, look up and see the fields ripe for the harvest."
During this Year of Faith, and with the Church's growing emphasis on the New Evangelization, Thanksgiving is laden with rich meaning.
As a supporter of CRS, you bear witness to the work of faith, and to an abundance of blessings, even in the face of upheaval and great privation.

Around the Catholic Relief Services table, we bring you to God in our prayers. We point to you and the work you do with, and for, the poor of the world. And we thank God for you, for your abundant faith and for your lifesaving witness.
