As the late summer “back to school” excitement fades, CRS invites Catholic educators to consider an interactive new lesson plan: The Global Marketplace. This year, teach students how everyday actions, like what we choose to buy, can have a positive or negative affect on the workers who produced it.

CRS Fair Trade understands that profits are made for people, not people for profit. It’s a marketplace where contribution takes precedence over commodity. It’s an act of faith that dares to value connection over consumption.

It also happens to be full of teachable moments. And we make it easy for educators to deliver valuable, memorable lessons while helping their school and parish.

CRS Fair Trade kits will help you immerse your students in spiritual, intellectual and social aspects of the world you’re preparing them to lead one day.

The Fair Trade School Kit places special emphasis on work and the dignity of workers, with prayers and activities.

The Fair Trade Parish Kit helps you raise awareness and support fair trade in your parish through community events.

Our CRS Fair Trade website is filled with resources you can turn to at any time of year to engage with your school, parish and our global community.
