Women and Peacebuilding Page

Catholic Relief Services works with women, who are often marginalized by formal political systems and affected by violent conflicts in unique ways. In Bosnia-Herzegovina, CRS microfinance and agricultural projects focus on providing women with business opportunities, which involve building cooperatives across ethnic groups.

In Cambodia, CRS supported women's rights and democracy training to help empower women. A Women's Peacebuilding Network is being supported in West Africa through the West Africa Network for Peace (WANEP). CRS also works with women in Liberia in Trauma Healing and Psychosocial Work.
