"Cucumber
Salad"
Serves 4 people
Ingredients
for Cucumber Salad:
· 4 peeled cucumbers, cut lengthwise
· 1 teaspoon sugar
· 1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
· 1 clove of garlic, chopped up or minced
· 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
· 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
· Hot sauce
· Salt
How
to make Cucumber Salad:
1) Cut the cucumbers lengthwise.
2) Sprinkle a pinch of salt on the cut sides and then
put them face down on a paper towel to drain.
3) After 30 minutes, pat the cucumbers dry and cut them
into ½ inch pieces.
4) In a small bowl, mix sugar, rice wine vinegar, garlic,
soy sauce, sesame oil, and a few drops of hot sauce
together.
5) Put the cut cucumbers into a bowl. Sprinkle the mixture
over them.
6) Toss the cucumber salad so that the cucumbers are
evenly coated with the sauce.
