CRS Haiti Staff Member Harold

As the Project Manager for Small Enterprise Development, Harold monitors the implementation of the program by our Caritas partners and ensures the quality with which the program is managed. Harold often meets with partners and beneficiaries, making sure that the program is running smoothly and reaching all of its target beneficiaries.

Harold is a dedicated manager who strives to reach the poorest of the country. "I have so many stories of lives improved by our work. When I observe the positive change that we have contributed to, I feel spiritually stronger," he says.

Despite the many constraints inherent in the economic and social quagmire Haiti is in, Harold is convinced that CRS is providing a significant contribution to the country. "In some parts of Haiti, we are the main institution providing basic services like healthcare, potable water, microcredit for women and support to quality primary education." Harold believes CRS' contribution is recognized and that the agency is perceived as being dedicated to helping Haiti's most vulnerable.
