CRS Speakers' Tour — Behold Peace in the Holy Land

What is it like to turn your most tremendous loss and grief into a mission for peace? Five hundred parents, sister and brothers on both sides of the conflict in the Holy Land are using their personal pain as a bridge to cross the historic divide between their peoples. Together, as the Parents Circle — Families Forum they promote dialogue between members, create peacebuilding programs in the Holy Land and send speakers throughout the world carrying their urgent message for peace.

In Spring 2008, the CRS Speakers' Tour will feature Rami Elhanan and Mazen Faraj, two members of the Parents Circle — Families Forum who lost loved ones in this conflict. Many other CRS speakers and homilists continue to reach out to audiences of all ages across the United States.

A new guide will be available in September 2008 for parishes to use as they raise awareness about the Holy Land. This guide will include activities to help Catholics learn about the Catholic Campaign for Peace in the Holy Land, prayer resources and advocacy suggestions for a peaceful and just solution in the Holy Land.
